Response

Hellloooo

So you need charts/graphs and percentages? alright ill do those tonight, Did anyone take photos? and Sean yes people are a hell of a lot more responsive in person, lesson learned lol

Did anyone collect the current informational material, I think we should get our hands on a calender (ill bring one from my house here in Guelph that might be something good to compare) It would be nice to have brochures and maybe some screen shots of the Toronto website. Did anyone do research on the net?

Vicenta and Banafsheh are you reading these emails lol?????

Interview, Group Email

Hey guys,

I made about 150 phone calls, I was told to fuck off 2 times ahahahhaha some fun stuff. Anyway I posted the information from the interviews a long with some added questions that i asked. I've attach both files to this email. Sean are you able to prepare the presentation? Also due to none responsive people i changed the area to rosedale, which involved Elm Ave and Douglas Dr. These people were a little more responsive, interviewing people over the phone sucks no one wants to have a conversation with a random guy on the phone. Two people told me they would email me the answers if i emailed the quesstionnaire but I still haven't got a response after 2 days so i dont think they are going to do it. If they do we can add it in later on, maybe they will have something interesting to say. So I got 10 Good interviews, and 2 possible emailed questionnairs, but it probably went in their junk mail and they forgot.
Anyways If you have any quesitons about it email me back

John

Group Email

Hey guys, I figured out how we can get the phone numbers of all the people who live on the street, Sean and I talked and we think its a better idea to call because there is no way were going to get everyone home at the same time. We think calling will be a lot more flexible with our schedule, people can call back etc. (if we leave a good message)

Now I have looked over the questionnaire and its a little to generic and I don't think its going to be very effective as it is right now.

Have you ever received recycling information material in the mail? - This question is going to be a bad idea because it could possibly change the whole interview if they say no. Maybe we should assume they do ?

Do you find Toronto’s recycling program effective? - I think this question is going in the wrong direction, people will think were asking them about how Toronto recycles there garbage. I don't remember what exactly we brain stormed but we should maybe ask if they find the informational system help you sort your garbage easily and efficiently? Something like this maybe?

Do you sort your waste? - Remember how Richard told us the person is just going to lie, a better way to find out might be to do something like Richard said, ask them if they no which garbage bin a plastic bag goes in.

So were going to start doing calls one Wednesday, we will probably have to do it for a couple days to get a hold of enough people.
